Review

Like many other Playtech slots, the Funky Monkey slot machine appears in its own window to a psychedelic funky theme tune. Like other slots designed by the same developers, you get the feel of being on the casino floor through the view point of a gamer and being able to see behind the machine itself. The icons on display vary from BARs, bananas, sunglasses, huts and bongos, the last of which will drop you the 2,500 top award when you spin three across the payline after a max bet. The Funky Monkey reel animation is engaging enough to not spoil the atmosphere of being in a real slot environment. However the sounds are seemingly unrelated and it's hard to see the link between the sounds and the theme.

The Funky Monkey slot has a lot of potential with a great top award and a good range of coin values for betting. A well produced game with a funky theme at heart.
