Review

The Lucky Charmer slot is superbly designed slot using the Microgaming model-type that features in many of their similar attributed slots. Though the interface is laid out much the same like so many others, the skilfully rendered art-work and uniquely styled icon choices make this a treat to play. Unfortunately the reel animation is still at the same mediocre speeds as other similar slots, and even the indicative sounds of spins and stops are similar. The background noise on Lucky Charmer however is different. It almost sounds like you are in an open air ethnic market/gathering (typical for where snake charmers might be) and when you create a winning line, you will hear a wind instrument (a pungi; predecessor to the shehnai) playing a motif. The icons range from traditional BARs and lucky 7s, to chilli peppers and golden cobras (the special wild symbol and link to the bonus feature). Look for the green cobras too; spin three across the payline during a max-bet spin to drop the huge top award.

Wild Symbol

The wild symbol of the golden cobra is different to regular wild symbols found in many other games. The restriction is that the golden cobra can only substitute itself for the green cobra (when possible) to allow you to drop the most valuable prize. Otherwise it's main function is to send you along to the bonus round if you manage to spin the symbol on to the payline.

Bonus Round

The Lucky Charmer bonus round is reached when you drop the wild symbol onto the payline from a spin.
