So 80's Slot Review

Similar to an Apple iPod advert themed in the 80’s, the So 80’s video slot machine has an intro video more effective than what you tend to see in many other slots. Just like the Microgaming video slot Crazy 80’s, this popular decade is recreated through a game for you to win from.

Though the interface is the standard type associated with Rival Gaming Software, it is littered with 80’s paraphernalia to really set the tone of this slot. The greatest way to evaluate something completely is to assess the sum of its parts, and whether you are a fan of the neon colours, the funky Guns N’ Roses/Bon Jovi soundtrack in the background behind the casino sounds, the break dancing figures, or even just the look of the guy on the reels similar to Hulk Hogan, this slot has all the extra attributes to create a compelling atmosphere.

As with any slot, it is essentially a game, and the content in this game is the most important. Thankfully So 80’s doesn’t disappoint! The Smiley, Break-dancer and Space Invaders icons are the best symbols to spin upon the reels. Just between these three icons, you can create the biggest prizes and trigger free-spins. Continuing with the 80’s theme the other main icons are the Jennifer Beal(remember her?) and Hulk Hogan look-a-likes, ghetto-blaster and ankle socks. Wild Symbol

The wild symbol is the Space Invader look-a-like icon. It can drop the top award by matching five across an active payline. Show 2, 3, 4 or 5 onto a payline and drop line multipliers of 10, 40, 800 or 5,000 times respectively. It can also substitute itself for all other icons (except the scatter) to help produce further winning combinations. If you use the icon in this way, any prizes it creates will automatically be TRIPLED.

Scatter Symbol

The scatter icon of the break-dancer can create large prizes that your regular payline awards. Scatter 2, 3, 4 or 5 over the reels in any positions to drop a prize of your TOTAL spun bet, multiplied by 2, 3, 15 or 75 times respectively.
