Wasabi-San Slot Review

Wasabi-San, a sushi themed slot is highly entertaining with its imaginative icons based upon well-known sushi dishes. The sounds are authentic too. In the background of the Wasabi-San video slot you can hear something similar to the muffled sound of conversations over dinner, accompanied with a koto (plucked Japanese stringed instrument). The illustrations and resultant animations from a successful line combination can be quite amusing. The Puffer-fish for example expands until it doesn't fit into its reel box and all you can see is its facial expression! The reel animation is extremely fast when it spins, and all resultant sounds (i.e. the stopping and spinning of the reels) come from the same stock as other Microgaming games. Despite the reusing of other material, the Manga-styled animations, Japanese themed fonts and realistic music more than makes up for the recycling of some items.
