As with most of the modern-day video slots that Microgaming releases on their platform, Curry in a Hurry follows the trend of using an intro video, just like Path of the Penguin and The Osbournes to name a couple. The purpose of this is to highlight the theme and add a level of intrigue before you play. Within seconds of watching this introductory animation, you’ll either love the game or hate it. Though humorous and energetic, it is important to note that although some people may take offence to the use of Asian stereotypes, the intention is not derogatory but rather a tongue-in-cheek celebration of a cuisine that has established itself in the western world.

The game itself is everything you would expect from the developers; smooth animations, detailed illustrations, wonderful sounds and numerous prizes. There are two main icons you will be looking to drop onto the reels; the Waiter (the wild) and the Curry (the scatter). The waiter can drop you the jackpot of a 9,000 times line multiplier and help produce winning combos from seemingly empty spins thanks to its substitution abilities. The scatter on the other hand can win you multiples of your entire spun bet; as much as 100 times. Wild Symbol
