Travel Bug is a refreshing new slot from Rival Gaming Software. With an interesting mix of animation, illustrations and sounds that have influences stimulated from all over the world, thus the theme of a lady-bird travelling the world is more than fitting! The sounds are a mixture of folk/travelling/gypsy variety. The icons too are based on the different places the Travel Bug has ‘visited’. Insects wearing berets seem to be from France, bowl-cut hairstyles, guitars and Big Ben in the background must symbolise England (from the Beatles association/double-entendre and so on provide stereotypical preconceptions in a light-hearted, creepy-crawly related manner.

The main icons you will want to reveal across the reels from a spin are; the Travel Bug (wild and highest paying symbol), the insect with the green suitcase (scatter free-spins trigger) and the passport (the scatter bonus trigger).

The animations are quite compelling as too is the soundtrack. Animations before a reel spin (small ladybirds scatter across the screen and disappear) and in the paytable (where all the icon characters come to life) are a superb touch to encourage a lifelike interaction as too are their abilities to create an entertaining atmosphere.
