The Vinyl Countdown video slot is highly entertaining from the off with amazing icon illustrations loosely based around the 50s and strikingly contains similarities to the classic 50s flick 'Grease'. Before you start your first spin on the Vinyl Countdown, the background noise is that of a 50s dinner, with plates, cutlery and teen chatter. The reel animation is fast and smooth and uses the same sounds from other Microgaming classic slots for the reels, however when you do start the reels spinning you can hear a faint band with piano playing in the distance. When you create winning lines you will hear little interlude motifs such as different rock and roll sounds. When you win the bigger prizes you will hear more original material such as bigger musical punches, and applause from an audience. All these musical aspects allow for a really absorbing slot.
