The Vinyl Countdown video slot is highly entertaining from the off with amazing icon illustrations loosely based around the 50s and strikingly contains similarities to the classic 50s flick 'Grease'. The reel animation is fast and smooth and uses the same sounds from other Microgaming classic slots for the reels spinning and stopping (however when you do start the reels spinning you can hear a faint band with piano playing in the distance). On the (hopefully many) occasions where you create winning lines you will hear little interlude motifs such as different rock and roll sounds. The Vinyl Countdown slots animations and illustrations are fairly basic but are extremely engaging.
