The California Gambling Control Commission has allowed plans for more than 3,000 new slot machines to enter Indian run casinos in the state, according to The Los Angeles Times. The Commission ruled that the majority of the casinos were owed extra slot machines as part of their contract agreements and, in order to avoid a breach of contract, the Commission has allowed various tribes located in the state to ship in new slots. The majority of the 3,000 slot machines will go to North-Californian tribes, but the LA Times has published a full list of the casinos which are set to benefit which includes casinos based in San Diego. It's believed that the Big Sandy Band Rancheria of Mono Indians will receive the most slots, with the Commission ruling that they're allowed an extra 1,650 one armed bandits. Other tribes, such as the Cachil Dehe Band of Wintun Indians of the Colusa Indian Community will receive over 400.
