Reel Crime #1: Bank Heist is a wonderful iSlot produced by the guys at Rival Gaming Software. Reel Crime #1: Bank Heist Slot Review

This brilliant online slot machine like many others has an introductory film, full of vibrancy and energy through the impressive of a comic book being brought to life! As you meet some of the shady characters briefly, you hear some energetic pacy music to really get you into the scene of this modern interpretation of a crime syndicate from the 20’s.

Though it isn’t the most complete video slot around, an iSlot online machine is designed to take the best parts of the game and fuse them with a remarkable narrative storyline to absorb you into the game more so that regular slot machines/video slots. The main icons to look for are the money bags, police officer and the getaway symbol/bank-safe (depending on which scene you are on). The money bags icon is the symbol to drop the highest award; 2, 3, 4 or 5 across an active payline (from left to right) will drop you a line multiplier of 8, 10, 25 or 750 times respectively. The Police officer and the Getaway/Bank-safe symbols are the scatters available. Spin 3, 4 or 5 across the reels in any positions from a spin to win a prize of your total bet multiplied by 2, 10 or 500 times respectively, however each icon has different repercussions in the game’s storyline.

Scatter Symbol

Depending on what stage you are playing in, the scatters may vary. Before you get past the first stage, your options are solely limited to the Tommy Gun where 3, 4 or 5 across the reels will grant you a prize of your bet multiplied by 1, 2 or 35 times. Successfully complete the subsequent bonus game (getting into the bank) and you will be given the next lot of scatter icons. The next level’s scatters are the police officer and bank-vaults. Regardless of what scatter you spin 3, 4 or 5 across the reels in any position will drop you a prize of your total bet multiplied by 2, 10 or 500 times respectively. Lastly the last stage grants you two scatters, the dynamite which will trigger free spins, or the getaway icon. The getaway icon works the same as the police officer and bank vaults, to drop you the same possible prizes. Keep in mind that all these scatters lead to different advancements in the iSlot; only the police office can pull you back to the beginning!

Free Spins

If you are unlucky enough to get to a bonus round yet are unable to win the prizes, Reel Crime is generous enough to grant you free spins at the end of the section. Alternatively once you have reached the latter stages you can spin the dynamite symbol across the reels or even the getaway icon to trigger free-spins. 2, 3, 4 or 5 of the scatter dynamite icon will give you 1, 5, 10 or 25 free spins that last of which comes with a 5x multiplier! The getaway icon however allows you to choose a silhouetted gangster, then a bank vault to be able to gain free spins and a multiplier for them respectively!

Bonus Round and Free Spins

The bonus rounds in iSlots are never the easiest to explain so try to keep up ok!? ;)

Reel Crime #1: Bank Heist is a story in stages. Depending on what stage you are on, you can spin different icons upon the reels and have better prizes to come from them. The only way to get passed the first stage is to spin three or more of the Tommy gun symbol across the reels. You will then be taken to ‘Outside the Bank’. With your Tommy gun you have to shoot the objects in front of you to hope to find the secret key to allow you access to the bank. If you are successful you get to the next stage, but if you are not, expect the police to come running and you’ll be escorted to your cell…albeit with some free-spins to play with!

To complete the second stage you need to spin at least three bank-vaults across the reels. This triggers the next round of spins that you have to decide on a fixed bet per spin. *Be careful here as you might not have enough in your balance if the next round prolongs itself*. You the ‘criminal’-character of the game are at the main bank-vault where the only way to gain access is to spin three or more bank-vault icons upon the reels at least 9 times to get it open. Don’t worry there are more of the bank-vault symbols on the reels to spin AND if you spin 4 or 5, you can take extra numbers off that ‘9’. Unfortunately, every time there are more security guards on patrol on the reels too. Every time you spin three or more of those, they move a step closer to you and could end up arresting you and making you start the game all over again! To see your progress look above the reels and see how many more combinations you need to create to open the safe OR before the police officer is there to catch you red-handed!

Pass this round and you will be taken to the actual vault where you can choose which of three smaller vaults to blow up with some sticks of dynamite. Collect your prizes and get to the last stage…the most important getaway! As you can imagine, the getaway symbol is on the reels to trigger your escape through the three or more combo and allow you to play with some extra free-spins and multipliers long after you’ve run away with your booty. The beauty of this stage is that the scatter dynamite icons also trigger the free-spins sections! Unfortunately the ‘Old Bill’ are still hot on your tracks and three or more of him across the reels will have you caught and put behind bars quicker than you can say…”but I’m innocent!’
