Review

With a wonderful fanfare to greet you to the game, get your spacesuits ready with a game themed on films like Star Trek, Star Wars, Aliens and any other classic Sci-Fi film you could think of! Detailed icons, a stereotypical ‘futuristic’ interface and cool animations and sounds (when used) make this game a lot of fun. Unfortunately some sounds and the usual lethargic reel spins have been recycled from previous Cryptologic classics, but nevertheless the game still provides a great enjoyment.

Apart from the Hero and Planet symbols that are the special wild and scatter icons, the main icon you will want to reveal from a spin is the attractive communications office. Spin 2, 3, 4 or 5 of her across the reels and you can multiply the line bet it has fallen upon by 5, 100, 750 or 3,000 times respectively. Keep an eye out for the other icons available especially the previously mentioned special icons that come attached with amazing animations when they win you prizes. Though you get some icons based on other related characters such as sinister looking scientists and giant insect aliens, the inclusion of high-card symbols does seem a little lazy in our opinions.

The game might not be the most complete and even though it uses the randomly dropping Movie Mayhem bonus round to give you extra prizes, Outta Space Adventure still hits the mark of providing a gripping game and wonderful prizes in a well produced video slot.

Scatter Symbol
